Federal University Dutse Secures Full Accreditation for MBBS & 18 Other Programmes
Federal University of Dutse has been fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for Medicine and Surgery and 18 other academic programs within the College of Medicine and five faculties.
According to the letter dated April 14, 2022 addressed to the Vice Chancellor and signed by the Executive Secretary, NUC, through the commission’s Director of Accreditation, the full accreditation is valid for the next five years.
After the inspection and validation of the facilities and manpower that can provide highly skilled graduates in their respective fields, accreditations are granted.
The full accredited programmes by the NUC are

Professor Abdulkarim Saho Mohammed, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, expressed his gratitude to the university’s staff and students after this great achievement and promised that the university would continue to improve its standards and quality of programs.
Achieving accreditation for the medical program is no small feat for the university, he adds, adding that it is a wake-up call for staff and students to make sure that the MBBS programme of the university is among the best in the country.
The VC thanked the Academic Planning Directorate for their hard work, which led to a successful accreditation process.
