Delta State University Announces Resumption of Academic Activities. This is to inform the University Community, particularly staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, that the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has declared the resumption date for academic activities to resume.

DELSU Resumption
The Delta State University Senate deliberated extensively on the approved University’s Academic calendar at its 183 Regular Meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2026, and concluded as follows:
- i) that the Academic Calendar approved by the university will be rigorously adhered to;
- ii) that all undergraduate and postgraduate students must immediately return to campus and commence classes; and
iii) that Faculties and Departments should make certain that academic activities commence fully.
