The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program brings educators from other countries to the United States for a six-week professional learning program that includes co-teaching placements at area schools and academic seminars at a host university. At the host university and a variety of public, private (secular or faith-based), or charter schools, participants observe classrooms, team-teach, and share their expertise with educators and students. In their host communities, participants also participate in cultural and civic activities.

- Currently employed as a full-time secondary school teacher* in an establishment primarily catering to the local population;
