Academic year 2026 starts on 1 October 2026
Lessons start on 3 October 2026 for most degree programmes (check relevant websites)
University holidays
Classes are suspended during Christmas holidays (23 December 2026 to 7 January 2026), Easter holidays (7 to 11 April 2026) and Summer holidays (7 August to 19 August 2026).

- Patron Saints’ days (according to the city where lessons are held; e.g. Padua 13 June, Treviso 27 April, Rovigo 26 November, Vicenza 8 September)

Trimesters and semesters
Classes are organised either in semesters or in trimesters, depending on regulations that applies to the specific class. Every single class can begin/end in different dates within common intervals

First trimester:
Classes: 3 October to 3 December 2026
Winter exam session: 5 December to 21 December 2026
Second trimester:
Classes: 9 January to 18 March 2026
Spring exam session: 20 March to 5 April 2026
Third trimester:
Classes: 12 April to 17 June 2026
Summer exam session: 19 June to 22 July 2026
Extra exam session: 21 August to 23 September 2026
Exam session reserved to students who will graduate by 16 December 2026: 2 October – 25 November 2026
