The above salary requirements do not apply to the following:

How to Apply
The visa procedure is usually completed in the consulate or Indian Embassy of the country applicant following these major steps:
Step 1: Complete and submit the online visa application form.
Step 2: Submit your application with the required documents at the Indian Visa Application Center or the Indian Mission.
Step 3: Collect your passport and visa from the Indian Mission/Visa Application Center or by post.
Registration with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) is required within 14 days of arrival in India if the stay is more than 180 days. Changes to individuals’ details or an address change also need to be updated via the FRRO.
