Three of the Flying Eagles’ goals in the 2024 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations have been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) among the Top 10 goals.
The list included Jude Sunday’s third goal in Nigeria’s 4-0 victory over the Tunisian Young Carthage Eagles.
Before unleashing a powerful shot that deflected off three Tunisian defenders, the winger dribbled past them all.
In addition, CAF included Ibrahim Muhammad’s blistering strike from the edge of the box in the Flying Eagles’ 2-0 victory over Mozambique.
The Flying Eagles’ powerful header from left back Solomon Agbalaka in their 1-0 victory over hosts Egypt also made the list.
At the conclusion of the competition, the team led by Ladan Bosso also won the Fair Play award.
At Egypt 2024, the West Africans came in third place.
