Shasta College recognises that international students face financial barriers on their study abroad journey, and thus is launching the Shasta College Foundation International Scholarship for the academic year starting in 2024. The scholarship is a great opportunity for international students to receive financial assistance for their undergraduate study at Shasta College.

Requirements of Shasta College Foundation International Scholarship
- Applicants must be non-US citizens or permanent residents
- Applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program at the college or university
- Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership potential, and financial need
- Applicants may need to submit transcripts, test scores, essays, letters of recommendation, and/or financial statements as part of the application process
- Scholarship amounts and availability may vary depending on the program and the funding available
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to international students planning to commence their undergraduate study in the fall semester at Shasta College.
- Applicants must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or better and must be F1 visa holders to be considered.
Benefits of the Scholarship
- The scholarship winner will be presented with an award valued at $3,000 to assist them in their undergraduate study at Shasta College.

Application Process
Interested applicants must first submit an admission application. After completing their admission application, applicants can then submit a scholarship application form to be considered. Supporting documents such as two (2) letters of recommendation, an essay, and the most recent unofficial school transcript must be provided.

The deadline for scholarship applications is 11:59 pm PST on April 30, 2024.
