Competitive scholarships are awarded by the various concentrations and programs within the SPPH. It is up to the concentration/program to determine the amount and number of Rural Health Competitive Scholarship they will be awarding each year based on the funds available and other factors determined by each concentration/program.

- Students must also maintain satisfactory progress on their degree plan and remain in good standing. If a student goes onto academic probation, they will lose their scholarship for the next semester. During the semester of the forfeited scholarship, if a student has a semester GPA above a 3.0, the scholarship may be renewed.

Application
Students awarded the scholarship and are late in finalizing their registration will incur late fees, those fees will be the financial responsibility of the student as such fees will not be covered by the scholarship nor will they be waived.
