After struggling to defeat Brest, a team in 15th place, on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has insisted that his team is united.
The Ligue 1 champions earned all three points with a late goal from Kylian Mbappe.
Even though PSG had more chances than the home team did, they never quite looked like a cohesive unit. PSG struggled for long stretches of the game.
Reports that senior players were questioning Galtier’s decision-making have surfaced in recent weeks, claiming that there was conflict in the dressing room.
Galtier asserted that the team is on the same page despite those reports and the disappointing victory.
It’s obvious that we’re disappointed, but we have to win the championship. There is unanimity, there can be no doubt about that.
After the game, he told Canal+, “I am a coach who will fight with his team to get this 11th title.”
