How to Apply for A Nonimmigrant Visa

Step 1

Firstly, you must know the type of visa you want by reading common nonimmigrants visas. Each type of visa explains the qualifications and application items needed.

Step 2

After you have determined the type of visa you want, you have to pay the visa fee. Visit visa fee, the page list all visa types and correlation visa fee in us dollars and native currency. In other to pay your visa fee, visit visa payments options, this page explains how you can make your visa fee payments. You must keep your receipt number to book your visa appointment.

MRV receipts are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The reference number on the MRV receipt is confidential and should not be shared with any one. Applicant must ensure that the receipt they schedule with matches the receipt on their appointment confirmation letters otherwise the applicant will be turned back on their interview day

Step 4

The next thing to do is to complete the DS-160 form, make sure you read the guidelines for completing the DS-160 form carefully. All information entered must be correct and accurate. You cannot make any corrections once the form is submitted in case you need any assistance please consult an immigration lawyer or translator. you will need your DS-160 number to book your appointment

You will now need to create a profile in our system follow this  link and click on new user.

Be sure to complete all fields and create a password, once you are in the system, you will now see your dashboard on the left, click the schedule appointment.

This will begin the process for scheduling your appointment. For every applicant being scheduled you will need:

  • The applicant’s passport number
  • Receipt number from GT Bank receipt.
  • The ten (10) digit barcode number from the applicant’s DS-160 confirmation page.

 

As you go through the process you will be able to select your visa type, enter your personal data, add dependents, select your document delivery location, confirm visa payment and lastly, schedule your appointment.

Step 5

Visit the U.S. Embassy on the date and time of your visa interview. Make sure to check the Schedule My Appointment page for all necessary documents needed for your appointment.

Step 6

If your visa is approved, the visa will be sent to the document drop-off location that you selected when you scheduled your appointment.
