Scholarship Description Griffith University
The Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship is open for application during the university’s Continuous Scholarship Round. The scholarship, known as GUIPRS, covers the tuition fees for the selected candidate throughout their doctoral program, which can extend up to three years, or for research master’s candidates, up to two years. Additionally, the scholarship includes Overseas Student Health Cover for the recipient and any dependents for the entire duration of the scholarship.
To be eligible, research candidates must hold a visa that covers the length of their program plus an additional eight months to account for the interactive thesis marking process. For those pursuing a Ph.D., a total of 57 months of overseas health coverage is required.
Recipients of Griffith University scholarships will receive coverage for the first 42 months of their program (applicable for Ph.D. candidates) and will be responsible for the remaining 15 months of coverage. They will need to provide evidence of coverage at the time of accepting their scholarship offer.
