The Turkey-United States Cultural Exchange Commission, also known as the Turkish Fulbright Education Commission, was established within the framework of the 1949 bilateral agreement between Turkey and the United States of America. The Commission was laid out to foster a typical grasping between the Turkish and American people groups through training and social trade.
The Turkish Fulbright Education Commission offers educational counseling to Turkish students who wish to study in the United States and provides scholarships to Turkish and American university graduates, academics, artists, and public officials to cover the costs of education, living, and travel. The budget for the Commission was jointly established by the American and Turkish governments.

- Subjects or Courses Eligible: The applicants can apply to graduate programs at their choice of American universities or colleges in the fields of biology, geography, environmental engineering, marine sciences, energy, physics, climate science, geology (aka geological engineering), chemical engineering (aka chemical engineering), meteorology (aka agricultural engineering), or agriculture (aka agricultural engineering).
- Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must meet all of the following requirements in order to be considered:
- Non-Turkish citizens must not be applicants.
- On the date of submission, applicants must have at least one year of real, full-time work experience.

Benefits:
The following advantages will be granted to the scholarship winners:
USD 50,000 for a single academic year, which includes tuition and other costs (including a book cost of $1,000 USD and a settlement fee of USD 350), monthly living expenses (which are scheduled according to the city of the destination), and university health insurance.
