Micah Richards, a former England defender, asserts that Manchester City’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace will leave Arsenal feeling “demoralized.”
At Selhurst Park, the champions earned all three points thanks to a late penalty kick from Erling Haaland.
Before Michael Olise gave away a penalty for a clumsy challenge on Ilkay Gundogan, Palace, which is in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle, frustrated City for 78 minutes.
“Man City have not been at their best however they’re figuring out how to dominate matches.
“If I were in a title race at the time, you would have watched the other games; Arsenal would have watched that one tonight,” he said.
Richards stated on Sky Sports, “City not playing at their best but still getting the three points through a late penalty, that’s demoralizing at times.”
