Hasselbaink praises the Arsenal star after the most recent victory.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former star player for Chelsea, has praised Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard, stating that the Norwegian always has a solution.

At Craven Cottage on Sunday, Arsenal defeated Fulham 3-0, and Odegaard scored one of the team’s three goals. Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli of Brazil scored the other goals, and Leandro Trossard scored a hat trick of assists.

Arsenal regained their five-point lead over Manchester City under Pep Guardiola in the table thanks to their victory over their London rivals.

With his goal on Sunday, Odegaard, a 24-year-old, now has 10 goals and 6 assists in the league this season.

On Sky Sports, Hasselbaink said of the former Real Madrid youngster, “He has always got a solution, you know.”

“When he enters a constrained space, he quickly and calmly finds the appropriate solution. Because he is not a player of that caliber, he does not have as many assists as De Bruyne.

“On the other hand, he is doing the other things so well and elegantly. Watching him is a pleasure.”
